Danny O’Carroll is an Irish actor, producer, and television personality, best known for playing the loveable rogue Buster Brady in the BAFTA-winning sitcom Mrs. Brown’s Boys. A core part of the show’s global success, Danny also starred in and executive produced Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie, which topped the UK and Ireland box office on release.
Beyond Mrs. Brown’s Boys, Danny has become a familiar face on TV, with appearances on hit shows including All Round to Mrs. Brown’s (BBC One), The Chase (ITV), Soccer Aid (ITV), Celebrity Mastermind (BBC One), and High Road, Low Road (RTÉ One). In 2025, he charmed audiences as a finalist on Dancing with the Stars (RTÉ One).
Danny is currently filming a brand-new comedy series Shedites for BBC One, set to air in late 2025, alongside a brand-new series of Mrs. Brown’s Boys. With a natural talent for both comedy and connection, Danny continues to be a fan favourite across the UK and Ireland.
