Tom Parker
Tom Parker is a wildlife photographer, musician and animal-care professional dedicated to bringing people closer to the natural world through creativity and storytelling. Blending striking imagery with piano music and thoughtful narration, Tom creates digital films that reveal not only how his photographs are captured, but the emotion and meaning behind each encounter with wildlife.
His passion for animals began in childhood and led to his first full-time role as a zookeeper at Marwell Zoo in Hampshire, where he cared for birds and reptiles ranging from penguins and ostriches to venomous lizards. That hands-on experience shaped his deep respect for animal welfare and ethical conservation.
Tom now works at a farm sanctuary providing lifelong care to rescued animals with complex needs, ensuring they receive dignity, safety and enrichment. Through his photography, educational content and music, he aims to inspire empathy for all species and encourage audiences to see nature not as something separate from us, but as something we belong to and must protect.
