  • Best known for being one third of the coolest girl band of them all, The Sugababes. Amelle joined the band in 2005. The band went on to have worldwide success and selling over 12 million albums, with 26 top 10 hits and two number 1 singles. Successful all over the world, they then signed to Jay Z’a record label ‘Roc-a-Fella in USA and wrote music alongside the biggest artists in the world. Amelle is the first and only member of the  Sugababes to achieve a number one single with her collaboration with Tinchy Stryder which was the biggest selling single of 2009 (Never Leave You). Amelle has also made appearances in movies alongside actors such as Alfie Allen who starred in ‘Games Of Throwns’.  After enormous worldwide success for nearly a decade, the Sugababes took a break to pursue solos projects and since then, Amelle starred in the hugely successful touring musical ‘Club Tropicana’. She was given phenomenal reviews for her role as Serena and her performance. She has a big personality, funny, warm and bubbly. She loves to talk and what better way than to have her own radio show at MKFM where she shares her love of music, interests and stories with her listeners. She is a natural performer who loves and thrives to entertain people, switching on their emotions of joy, elation and delight.

    In 2021 Amelle landed her own nightly show on DAB radio station MKFM and Amelle presents a nightly show for the DAB radio station. In 2022 Amelle took part in her third pantomime with Enchanted productions that took place between December-January 2023 in Newcastle. Amelle is currently working on her first children’s book and hoping for a release in late 2023.
