  • Amelle Berrabah is best known for her pivotal contribution to the British girl group, The Sugababes, elevating the band’s success to new heights when she joined in 2005. Her tenure saw the band achieve global success, selling over 12 million albums, achieving 26 top 10 hits, and securing two number-one singles. The group’s distinctive sound and individuality garnered them widespread acclaim. They eventually signed with Jay Z’s Roc-a-fella Records, collaborating with renowned artists and writers like Ne-Yo, Bruno Mars, and RedOne.

Amelle also made history as the only Sugababes member to attain a number one solo single, thanks to her collaboration with Tinchy Stryder on “Never Leave You,” the best-selling single of 2009.

After nearly a decade of success, the Sugababes took a hiatus to focus on individual projects. Amelle ventured into musical theatre, starring in the well-received show “Club Tropicana.” She also enjoyed performing in three pantomimes, embracing the festive magic they bring.

Amelle’s passion for music naturally led her to radio, where she has been presenting an evening show on MKFM since 2021. Beyond her radio career, she is working on her first children’s book, set for release next year.

Amelle continues to perform across the UK and is planning more international shows in the near future.
