  • English actor Jamie Lomas is known for his roles in the UK’s top soaps with characters Jeff Durkin in Coronation Street on ITV, Jake Stone in Eastenders on BBC1 and Warren Fox in Channel 4’s number one show Hollyoaks.

    Jamie won Best Actor at the US Studio City Film Festival in 2017 for the role of Andy in the film ’The Importance of Being Andy’, among other roles he starred in the 2006 movie ’The Wind That Shakes The Barley’ alongside Cillian Murphy, Orla Fitzgerald and Liam Cunningham with the movie nominated for Best British Independent Film at the 2006 British Independent Film Awards.   

    His TV career began back in 2002 when he starred in C4’s Brookside and he subsequently landed lead roles in some of the biggest shows ever on television including Heartbeat and Casualty, Dream Team, Doctors, and Stella.  

    2017’s “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here” saw Jamie win a new army of fans as he took on the Australian outback coming runner up while other notable achievements include winning Most Spectacular Scene at the 2008 British Soap Awards, where he was also nominated for Villain of the Year & Best Actor.

    As of 2020 Jamie was back as part of the cast of Hollyoaks and later appeared on ITV1’S The Full Monty.

    Jamie recently produced and starred in Lead Belly, a hard-hitting short film which raises awareness about the ex armed forces personnel living on the streets. The actor plays ex soldier Mark, who is homeless and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, and the film reveals the impact of what many military veterans go through once they are back in society. Lead Belly will be available to view on iTunes and Jamie is hoping it will be turned into a three part drama.

    SNAPCATCH is a short film, created in 2024 to raise awareness on online safety for young people. Make Life Kind partnered with Jamie Lomas and Four1 Productions to bring the education sector a brand new online safety film. Snapcatch is directed by award-winning TV and film director Sean Glynn, written by Sarah Hehir and produced by actress and award-winning producer Rebecca-Clare Evans and Jamie himself. Starring Peter Andre and Junior Andre, the film poses the question: Do you ever really know who you are talking to online?
